长沙师范学院曾婷副教授到外国语学院开展讲座

 from Changsha Normal University

2021年3月12日下午，长沙师范学院专家曾婷副教授为外国语学院教师作了一场题为《基于教学竞赛的教师教学能力提升》的讲座。

In the afternoon of March 12, 2021, Associate Professor ZENG Ting, an expert from Changsha Normal University, gave a lecture entitled "Improving Teachers' Teaching Ability Based on Teaching Competitions" to teachers of the School of Foreign Languages.

曾婷结合自己参加国家级、省级各类教学比赛的经历，用非常独特的视角给我院教师上了一堂“如何做好教学改革”的讲座。曾婷指出，是因为她对课堂教学的这种Passion （热情）让她在一次又一次的各级各类比赛中不断地坚持再坚持，并最终获奖。

ZENG Ting gave a lecture on "How to Conduct the Teaching Reform" to our teachers with a very unique perspective, combining her experience of participating in various teaching competitions at national and provincial levels. ZENG Ting pointed out that it was her passion for classroom teaching that made her persevere in competitions at all levels and eventually win awards.

最后，曾婷副教授指出教师教学能力提升的途径：一是不积跬步无以至千里；二是不善勤思无以成师范；三是众人拾柴火焰高。建议教师可通过多进行教学观摩、多参加教学竞赛、多参加专业领域的学术会议等方式提升教学能力。

Finally, she suggested the ways to improve teachers' teaching skills: Firstly, a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step; Secondly, becoming a teacher requires the diligence in thinking; Thirdly, many hands make light work. It was suggested that teachers could improve their teaching ability by conducting more teaching observations, participating in more teaching competitions and attending more academic conferences in the area of expertise.
