Being Rigorous in Teaching

         长沙师范学院曾婷副教授到外国语学院进行教学指导

2021年3月9日，长沙师范学院专家曾婷副教授到外国语学院参加教研活动，该次教研活动为我院谷兰和王建英两位教师上公开课，英语教育教研室成员一起参加此次活动。

On March 9, 2021, Associate Professor ZENG Ting, an expert from Changsha Normal University, visited the School of Foreign Languages to participate in a teaching and research activity which was an open class for two of our teachers, GU Lan and WANG Jianying, and members of the Teaching and Research Office of English Education attended this activity together.

曾婷对我院两位教师的课堂教学给予了充分的肯定，认为两位教师的课堂教学目标明确，教学内容、重点、难点突出，教学步骤合理有序，逻辑清晰，学生参与度好，学习资源拓展有亮点，总体教学效果较好，充分实现本次教学目标。同时也点评了课程中存在的不足：

ZENG Ting gave full recognition to the classroom teaching of our two teachers, saying that the classroom teaching objectives of the two teachers were clear, the teaching content, key points and difficulties were prominent, the teaching steps were reasonable and orderly, the logic was clear, the students' participation was good, the learning resources were expanded with highlights, and the overall teaching effect was good, fully achieving the teaching objectives. At the same time, the following shortcomings of the course were also commented on.

一是建议以学生为中心的教学理念应进一步加强；

 First, it is suggested that the student-centred teaching concept should be further strengthened;

二是教学内容的补充和延伸要有实效性；

Second, the teaching content should be supplemented and extended with efficiency;

三是教学素材的选择可选更贴近中国学生生活的例子，将中国文化和元素更好地融入英语教学中，更好地做好课程思政建设。

Third, the teaching materials should be chosen to be more closely related to examples of Chinese students' lives, and Chinese culture and elements should be better integrated into English teaching, so as to accomplish the ideological and political construction.
